The Dawsonrentals fruit storage container was designed especially as a storage unit for ripening various types of fruit. Renting a fruit ripening unit is the right solution if you need more storage capacity for ripening fruit. Internal lighting

The fruit storage container always includes internal lighting, at a light intensity of 300 lux per metre.

Hygienic, non-slip, flat floors

The floor of the food storage container is flat and has a non-slip coating. This makes it safe and easy for you to bring in a pallet or roll cage. The storage unit also has a sloping corner along the 45° walls, so no dirt or insects can get into the seams. The floors of our storage containers always include a drain.

Data registration devices

Data registration devices are a standard feature in our fruit ripening cell. These devices make it easy to read out data on e.g. air temperature, when and how long doors were open, defrosting cycle, and any malfunctions.

Air seal

The fruit storage container includes an air curtain that seals the air inside, keeping the temperature inside the room separate from the outdoor temperature when the doors are open.

Internal light switch and lock-in alarm

The fruit storage container includes a light switch so the light can be turned on from inside. It also has a lock-in alarm so employees can alert people outside if they are accidentally locked in. The alarm includes both acoustic and visual warning signals.
